Specific Learning Difficulties in Maths,
including Dyscalculia

Welcome to Help with Numbers, your specialist resource for assessment of Specific Learning Difficulties in Maths, including dyscalculia.
As a professional assessor, my mission is to bridge the gap between a diagnosis and practical, everyday success. Every learner deserves to be understood. A maths difficulty is not a limitation - it is simply a different way of processing the world.
Whether you are a parent seeking answers for your child or a school looking for actionable classroom accommodations, an assessment can help outline strengths and areas for development for a pupil.
I offer face-to-face diagnostic assessments for Specific Learning Difficulties in Maths, including Dyscalculia. I have taught in primary schools for over 25 years, of which ten years have been as Head of Maths in a prep school. Therefore, I understand how some children struggle to learn Maths.
I currently work as a Learning Support Teacher, with a specific focus on Maths. I have completed my PGDip SpLD (Level 7, Dyscalculia) and hold a current APC, so I am fully qualified and able to carry out full diagnostic assessments for individuals up to the age of 16.
